30in30 Announcement
This year's Ian Brown's Cycle Shop 30 Rides in 30 Days
challenge, raising funds for Les Bourgs Hospice, takes place from
May 5th to June 4th. In 2010 and 2011 funds raised
reached nearly £70,000 each year. We hope to do equally well in
2012 and already taking registration from interested
participants.
If you are interested then the challenge is to ride your bike
for one hour each day for thirty consecutive days and, as
importantly, raise lots of money for Les Bourgs. We ask that
participants aim to get 30 sponsors of £1 each days thereby raining
£900. Some nearly get to this target and many exceed it but the
combined efforts usually amount to £60k to £70k.
