Cycletta 2012 - Women On Wheels For Fitness and
Fun
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Cycletta
women's events for 2012 in association with Specialized.
Cycletta is supported by Olympic Gold medallist Victoria
Pendleton, Sky and British Cycling who are all committed to
encouraging more women to take up cycling for fitness and fun.
The Cycletta events are the perfect way for women across the UK
to get involved in the sport, fund-raise for Macmillan and have a
great day out with family and friends. They are set in stunning
locations around the UK making for great routes which are perfect
for beginners but still challenging enough for the more experienced
cyclist.
Victoria Pendleton and thousands of women of all abilities will
cycle through 40km or 80km of picturesque countryside and will also
be able to take advantage of the free post event pamper zone which
includes a helmet hair remedy centre, mini manicure and massage to
ease those sore muscles - all for free!
There will be 6 Cycletta events across the UK in 2012:
13/5/12 - Cycletta Bedfordshire at Woburn Abbey
(40km)
24/6/12 - Cycletta Wiltshire at Lydiard
Park (40km)
July TBC - Cycletta Warwickshire at Ragley Hall
(40km)
30/9/12 - Cycletta Brighton at Plumpton
Racecourse (40km and 80km)
07/10/12 - Cycletta Cheshire at Tatton Park
(80km)
14/10/12 - Cycletta Hampshire at Beaulieu Palace
(40 and 80km)
The cost per entry is £42 for 40km events - £46 for the
80km.
